Varta Microbattery

When dealing with Varta Product there are two companies that Cell Pack Solutions Deal with.

One is Varta Microbattery, a leading producer of OEM batteries concentrating its technical development on primary and rechargeable Lithium products and Nickel Metal Hydride systems for portable applications.

The second is Rayovac Varta who specialise more in the comsumer market as well as industrial Alkaline cells which are used commonly in custom battery pack manufacture.

Primary Alkaline Cylindrical Cells
Varta Industrial Alkaline cells are designed specifically for constant or pulse discharge with high discharge currnets. These cells are very robust and well suited for use in custom battery packs. This section has technical information on the indivual cells in the range as well as other detials such as applications and design information.

Varta Button Cells

Rechargeable NiMh Mempac Batteries
The Varta Microbattery Mempac range consists of packs made up of NiMh button cells in various configurations with differeing pin and flying lead terminations to suit many applications. These packs are desiged for use in a wide range of devices including note-book bridging function, memory backup, real-time clock in PCs/notebooks, toys, remote control devices, torches, domestic alarms, car alarms, medical equipment and central heating timers.
