SL800 / 2800 Series - for (XOL) for eXtended Operational Life

The SL-800 and SL-2800 Series are new for 2006 in line with the new streamlined product range from Tadiran designed specifically for applications requiring Extended Operational Life. The cells in this range are similar to those in the SL-300 and SL-700 series ranging from BEL up to D size cells. Three of the new SL-800 series are actually replacing existing SL-300 and SL-700 series cells.

The following model designations are replaced:

• SL-340 and SL-740 replaced by New SL-840
• SL-389 and SL-789 replaced by New SL-889
• SL-386 and SL-786 replaced by New SL-886

The difference between the New SL-800 series and te existing lines is an increase in cell capacity along with an extra low self discharge rate and extra low passivation during long term use.
