Sonnenschein Lithium GmbH has been renamed Tadiran Batteries GmbH

Tadiran was founded as a Joint venture between Tadiran and Sonnenschein in 1984 and in Europe operated under the name Sonnenschein Lithium up until February 2006. Now to show affiliation to the Tadiran group worldwide, the company name has now been changed to Tadiran Batteries GmbH. Along with the new name new batteries will be branded with the Tadiran labelling as can be seen in the picture below.

Most of the existing product codes will remain the same however the product range has been streamlined; see the following press release for details of the product range for 2006. Download Product Range pdf.

The existing blue labelling previously used under the Sonnenschein name (on the left) will be replaced my the pink labelling of Tadiran (on the right). As mentioned above, many of the existing products will remain with the same product codes.
