Available terminations for Varta Primary Lithium Cylindrical Cells

Varta Primary Lithium Cylindrical cells are often used in PCB boards or other electronic circuitry; if the board does not have a battery holder then it is necessary to have terminations on the battery in order to fit it to the board. There are a number of different methods which are distinguished by the product code, this page outlines them to ensure you choose the right termination for your application.

Standard

CRAA

If your cell requires no termination then there will be no extra lettering after the battey product code.

 

/T

 

Cells which require a solder tag have /T at the end of the battery code.

-CD

CRAA-CD

Cells which finish with a -CD have axial pins welded to the positive and negative terminals.

-SLF

CRAA-SLF

The -SLF termination indicates cells with polarized pins. The common configuration is to have a single pin on the positive and double pin on the negative.

-AXIAL

CRAA-AXIAL

AXIAL is used again to indicate axial pin termination as with -CD.
