Directors Message

I set up Cell Pack Solutions as a sole trader in November 1998. I had spent the previous 12 years working in the Battery Industry in various roles, and like many people I eventually got to the point where I wanted to have a go at working for myself. So armed with a little saved money, a lot of help from friends and family, a driving ambition to succeed and an equally strong fear of failure I took the plunge and resigned from a good job. Working for yourself has many advantages and disadvantages and my advice to anyone is that if you feel strongly enough about it then go for it but be sure you really like the subject of your venture, because it will take a lot of your time and effort. Those that have met me will know that I love what I do and will help anyone within my scope.

The company has progressed in the last 8 years, we became limited in March 2001, we currently employ 12 people, and we have moved twice expanding our workspace. We have picked up a couple of local business awards and were short listed in the 2002 UKONLINE E-Commerce awards for our region, achievements we are proud of. To achieve all this we have had to satisfy many customers and we hope to continue to do this for many years to come.

We have just recently been Highly Commended in the 2004 UK Online Ecommerce Awards.
