This section describes the most common battery pack
configurations.
Each of the diagrams below show batteries formed together with solder
tag terminations, this is just for illustration purposes. Once formed
into the appropriate configuration, batteries can be fitted with either
flying leads or a suitable connector.
B Format
In B Format, cells are placed end to end welded
in line to maintain a good connection.
C Format
C Format is where the cells are glued side by
side and then welded together to build up the battery.
Cluster
Cells are glued into a cluster formation and
interlinked with solder tags to form the battery.
Nested
Cells are glued into an in-line nested formation
and interlinked, with solder tags to form the battery.
SBP (Standard Battery
Pack)

with solder tags to form the battery.
