DIGISPEED 4 ULTRA Features:
Will charge 1 to 4 NiCd or NiMh AA or AAA batteries - NiMh or NiCd selected via
a switch. Each cell is Charged individually and includes faulty cell detection.
Automatic start of the charging process once the batteries make contact
regardless of the charging status before insertion. Intelligent Microprocessor
controlled charging regime. Negative Delta V and Safety Timer control and
Temperature control. Automatic matching of charging current. Protection against
reverse polarity LED charging status for each charging point. Fan assisted
cooling of cells during charging process.

Operation:
This Digispeed Ultra is very easy to use. Choose NiMh or NiCd option. The Red
LED indicates that the battery is being fast charged. Red LED flashes to indicate
charge complete. Error indication if battery inserted incorrectly or if faulty
battery. Note that each battery is charged separately so any number from 1 to 4
can be charged and they do not have to be inserted at same time. When fast
charging cells , a certain amount of heat is generated , the fan will turn on and off
helping to keep the temperature down. At end of fast charge it is best to allow a
cool down of 10 mins before using charger again. Full operation instructions are
supplied with charger.

AA NiMh 2400 mAh 35 Mins
AAA NiMh 800 mAh 45 Mins

Note that the fast charge times often quoted are related to particular cells for
example this charger could be called a 10 min charger because it would fully
charge a 700 mAh NiMh battery in this time.
