This is one of the three middle range power supplies from Ansmann, suited for low to medium voltage and low to medium current applications. It is a linear regulated power supply which means that the oputput voltage is regulated by the supply itself which means you can be assured the output voltage is at the level selected.

This makes is suitable for sensitive applications in environments which require low EMF radiation from electronic devices.

The housing is rated at IP20, is insulated to 4kV primary and secondary, and has built in short circuit protection.
