This is the entry level power supply from Ansmann, suited for low voltage and low current applications. It is a linear unregulated power supply which means that the oputput voltage is not regulated by the supply itself which means you cannot be assured the output voltage is at the level selected.

This makes is suitable for unsensitive applications or those which have regulated input circuitry of their own, it is also good for use in environments which require low EMF radiation levels from electronic devices.

The housing is rated at IP40, is insulated to 4kV primary and secondary, and has built in short circuit protection.
