This is a Desktop charger from Ansmann which replaces the BCA12-1 (Ansmann part No. 9674001).
The ALCS6-24/1 is an adjustable intelligent charge for 6V, 12V or 24V Lead Acid batteries of between 2 - 24Ah. This is an intelligent charger which controls the charge process according to the IU curve, this charge also offers:
- Overcharge protection
- Trickle Charging
- Charging Indicator
- Short-circuit protection
- For stand-by as well as parallel operation
This charger runs from standard UK mains supply voltage of 230V AC and produces the following output characteristics:

Red LED indicates charging, it turns off when the battery is fully charged. The green LED indicates the charger is turned on. This is a desktop charger with 4kV insulation, IP 20 protection, an operation temperature of 0'C to 25'C, storage temperature of -25'C to 70'C and comes with a 2m input cable and 1.8m output cable.
The input cable is fitted with a Euro plug but the charger comes supplies with a UK 3-pin plu adaptor. The output lead has a two pin output socket which can be fitted to DC output plugs to suit your requirements. The polarity of the plug can be altered by switching the plug around in the output socket, always check the polarity of your equipment matches that of the charger. You can alter the output connection of this charger to suit your needs. |
