This is a Microprocessor controlled fast charger (1-10 hours) Plug-in charger to suit both NiCd and NiMh Battery Packs of 4-10 cells ( 4.8v - 12v). It automatically matches its charging current to the capacity of the inserted pack.

It comes supplied with a 1.8m lead and a range of Jack Plugs to suit most applications, the output lead has a polarity changeover socket so the polarity of the output plugs can be changed to suit that of the battery pack connector.

It has reverse charge protection, uses -delta V indication to detect the end of charge and has a 10 hour safety timer. It has a max output of 700mA +/- 10%, a trickle charge of 2mA and a pre charge current of 87.5mA which runs for 4.5mins. It also features LED Charge indication. Red lights blinks when in test mode, indicating wrong polarity, defective cells or incorrect number of cells. Steady red light when in charge mode. Green steady light indicates fully charged and trickle charge mode. It features a DISCHARGE button which allows battery to be discharged prior to charge. This discharge is at between 200 and 400 mA.

The housing is rated to IP20 Operating temp range is 0'C to +25'C storage temp is -25'C to +70'C. Its normal case colour is black, this charger comes with a fixed UK plug so can only be used in the UK.
