This Ansmann intelligent charger will charge Ni-Cd and Ni-MH cells in packs of 4 to 10 Cells (4.8V - 12V). It automativally matches its charge current to the capacity of the pack with a maximum charge current of 2500mA.

It has an input voltage of 100-240 volts with a range of primary input plugs which means it can be used worldwide. The output lead is 2m long and comes with 8 output plugs, the output lead has a polarity changeover socket so the polarity of the output plugs can be changed to suit that of the battery pack connector.

The charger uses -delta V indication to detect the end of charge, has an optional discharge function and also includes faulty cell detection. It has a pre charge current of 270mA and a trickle charge current of 15mA which are used automatically by the charger throughout the charge process. It also has a safety timer of 650 minutes to protect the attached battery pack.

The housing is rated to IP20 Operating temp range is 0'C to +25'C, storage temp is -25'C to +70'C and includes LED indication of the state of charge.
