This is a Microprocessor controlled Plug-in traveller charger (1-10 hours) to suit both NiCd and NiMh Battery Packs of 1-10 cells (1.2v - 12v). Automatic matching of charging current is a feature of this quality charger.

It comes supplied with a 1.8m lead and a range of Jack Plugs to suit most application,. the output lead has a polarity changeover socket so the polarity of the output plug can be changed to suit that of the battery pack connector. It also comes with a range of primary input plugs to enable it to be use worldwide.

The housing is rated to IP20 Operating temp range is 0'C to +25'C. storage temp is -25'C to +70'C. Its normal case colour is black It has reverse charge protection It has a 10 hour safety timer.

It has a max charge current of 800 mA +/- 10% and trickle charge of 80 mA +/- 10% and uses - delta V indication to detect the end of charge. It also features four LED Charge indication.

The first red LED lights when mains switched on. Second red LED lights when fast charge is on, which then turns off to indicate charge is over. Green LED light flashes to indicate test and trickle charge mode. Yellow LED lights during the discharge mode. It also features a DISCHARGE button which allows battery to be discharged prior to charge. This discharge current is at between 150 and 250 mA.
