Standard Chargers

Ansmann Standard chargers are universal entry level chargers with excellent price/performance ratio and are generally best suited for use with medium capacity (Up to 2100mAh) NiCd/NiMh batteries. These chargers can be used with higher capacity batteries however charge times can be quite long.

BASIC 4 PLUS

Can charge NiCd and NiMh cells: AAA: 1-4 AA: 1-4 PP3: 1

Approximate charge time for 1000mAh battery:8 hours An excellent entry level charger made to a high standard at a keen price.

Intelligent Chargers

Intelligent chargers are in the mid-range chargers offered by Ansmann; they are suited for charging batteries for equipment that requires additional reliability from the batteries that power them. These chargers still have an excellent price/performance ratio whilst providing additional features which help maintain or fast charge your batteries. These chargers are microprocessor controlled and use - deltaV charge control which detects when the end of charge is reached. They also have a safety timer and trickle charge functions to protect against overcharging. We stock four chargers in this range all offering something slightly different.

PHOTOCAMIII	Can charge NiCd and NiMh cells: AAA: 2-4 AA:2-4	Approximate charge time for 1000mAh battery: 3 hours This is the entry level intelligent charger and includes 4 x Ansmann AA 2100mAh NiMh batteries.
POCKET POWER CHARGER SET	Can charge NiCd and NiMh cells: AAA: 1-4 AA:1-4	Approximate charge time for 1000mAh battery: 2.4 hours This charger is ideal for travellers; it can be used worldwide as well as from a 12V DC input. It comes in a handy case, is lightweight and the charger doubles up as a battery storage box. Includes 4 x Ansmann AA 2400mAh NiMh batteries.
DIGISPEED 4 ULTRA	Can charge NiCd and NiMh cells: AAA: 1-4 AA:1-4	Approxomate charge time for 1000mAh battery: NiMh: 0.3 hours, NiCd: 1.2 hours. This is Ansmann's fastest battery charger, if you require your batteries charging quickly and safely, this is one of the best available. Includes 4 x Ansmann AA 2600mAh NiMh (soon to be 2700mAh) batteries.
DIGICHARGER PLUS	Can charge Li-Ion Digital camera/Camcorder batteries and NiCd and NiMh cells: AAA: 1-4 AA: 1-4	Approximate charge time for 1000mAh battery: 1.5 hours. This is a truley universal charger capable of charging a wide range of Digital Camera and Camcorder batteries as well as NiCd and NiMh cells. This charger can also be used worldwide and from a 12V DC input.

Professional Chargers

Professional chargers relate to the Ansmann Energy Series of chargers, an excellent range of high performance multi chargers which can handle a number of different battery sizes. Energy chargers offer easy and safe handling along with optimum conditioning of rechargeable cell, best suited for applications which require high cell reliability.

Features included in this range of chargers include automatic battery analysis, refresh program, individual cell supervision, faulty cell detection and trickle charge functionality. The range includes chargers that can charge between 4 and 8 cell simultaneously.

Energy 16	Can charge NiCd and NiMh: AAA: 1-12 AA: 1-12 C: 1-6 D: 1-6 PP3: 1-4	Approximate charge time for 1000mAh battery: 1.7 hours Excellent multi charge for charging up to 8 batteries at a time. Ideal for the heavy user.
